1. Scope of this policy

This Cookie Policy applies to users of the TekTag+ Studio website located at www.tektag.studio, including its mobile version (hereinafter the “Website”).

This Policy explains what cookies and other tracking technologies are used in connection with the Website and the online services offered through it (the “Online Services”). By continuing to use the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

Where cookie installation involves the processing of personal data, such processing is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you visit it. They store information about how you browse the site, and allow us to recognise you and remember your preferences so that the Website works more efficiently and adapts to your needs.

Similar technologies — such as local storage, session storage, and pixels — work in comparable ways and are covered by this Policy. For simplicity, we refer to all of them as “cookies.”

3. Types of cookies

By ownership

First-party cookies

Set directly by TekTag+ Studio from our own domain.

Third-party cookies

Set by external providers (e.g. Vercel Analytics, Stripe) from their own domains. These parties have their own privacy policies.

By duration

Session cookies

Deleted automatically when you close your browser. They are not stored permanently on your device.

Persistent cookies

Remain on your device for a set period after the browser is closed, or until you delete them manually.

By purpose

Technical cookies

Essential for the Website to function. Without them, services like login or checkout would not be possible.

Personalisation cookies

Remember your preferences (e.g. language, theme) to tailor your experience.

Analytical cookies

Help us understand how visitors interact with the Website so we can improve it. Data is aggregated and anonymised where possible.

Behavioural advertising cookies

Track browsing habits over time to build a profile and serve interest-based advertising. TekTag+ Studio does not currently use these.

5. Who uses the information stored in cookies?

Information stored in first-party cookies is used exclusively by TekTag+ Studio to operate the Website and improve the Online Services. Third-party cookies are managed by external providers listed in section 4. Those providers process data according to their own privacy policies, linked in the table above where applicable. We do not sell cookie data to any third party.

6. International data transfers

Some third-party providers listed in section 4 (such as Vercel and Stripe) may be located outside the European Economic Area. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, those providers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other adequate safeguards recognised under GDPR. You can review the specific transfer mechanisms in each provider's privacy policy.

7. Managing and removing cookies

You have the right to choose whether to accept non-essential cookies. Please be aware that disabling certain cookies may affect the availability or functionality of the Online Services (for example, disabling technical cookies will prevent you from signing in).

Option 1 — Cookie consent banner

When you first visit the Website, a cookie banner allows you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can change your preferences at any time via the cookie settings link in the footer.

Option 2 — Browser settings

Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies from their settings. Instructions for the most popular browsers:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari
  • Microsoft Edge

Note: your choice is specific to each browser and device. You must repeat the opt-out on each browser or device you use.

Option 3 — Third-party opt-outs

For analytical and advertising cookies set by third parties, you can also use:

  • Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
  • Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt-out

Mobile devices

On mobile devices you can use the “Limit Ad Tracking” setting (iOS) or “Opt-Out of Personalized Ads” (Android) to control interest-based advertising. For general cookie management, use your mobile browser's privacy settings.

For more information about cookies, including how to view cookies installed on your device and how to manage and delete them, visit allaboutcookies.org or youronlinechoices.eu.

8. Updates to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy periodically to reflect changes in the cookies we use or applicable regulations. The date at the top of this page always shows when the policy was last revised. For significant changes, we will notify you via the cookie consent banner or by email.
